Few Suggestions For Improvement:

I do wish this and other books in the IKAN stable would offer species range descriptions covering more than the geography of the given work rather than where the species can/may be found in the region covered by that boo

Such questions as"What is that"? and further "Is it dangerous", "Of utility" and beyond,

"How do they make their lives, reproduce, locomote"? will find answers, finally, here.

As in previous volumes there are extensive compatibility, captive survival and husbandry notes for many organisms, groups. A favorite feature of the Modern Coral Reef Aquarium books for me are these many "fact sheets"

What this book is not about is aquarium husbandry. The authors are not aquarists. Little in the way of practical captive care of these fishes is offered; and this is a great shame (see below re suggested changes). Nonetheless, information on distribution and habitat is of service to aquarists seeking input on biotopic presentations, as are notes on maximum size and natural foods/feeding.

Hello everyone, I was wondering how much water flow is needed in the 55 gal. tank. We have the xp2 filter, and a maxi- jet wavemaker model 900. Is that enough water movement? For my birthday my sister gave me a 29 gal. tank and we want to make it into a saltwater tank she also got me a penguin....

In regards to what "Funfishtank" has to say, I disagree. Whether you cycle fishy or fishless does not affect how many fish you can add at once after they cycling process is complete.
